Whenever I watch the CarShield commercials, I always wondered where the company gets its money. The "testimonials" usually don't tell you what the repairs were for or what body shop did the repairs. The commercials don't even state if they are actual consumers. This is all you need to know about CarShield. I am just glad Chris Berman is no longer "legitimizing" this fraud.

Now they got iceT and tom selleck. Imagine these rich folk are driving a 5 year old car with no warranty. I cant except for a classic car and they have their own mechanics as well

Bought car insurance on two of my cars, one car's engine light came on was told by Car shield to take it to the shop and my deductible would only be 100.00. so got the mechanic to call Car shield after he used the diagnostic computer analysis to find out what was wrong...

I can't get any help with my problem

my car been in the auto shop for 3+weeks. I've have call car shield everyday to fine out my status of my car, each time I call its a different story. I have dates and names of each time I called this place. I am very upset with how I being treated not satisfy at all. had to go to my Doctors office ,had a friend take me to get some anxiety pills.I am a senior citizen I us my car to take me back and fourth to the doctor and therapy.I tried to get in touch with corporate but it seems like I can't find the number everyone I talk to don't have it. I did talk to a supervisor twice but nothing happen, now when I ask to speak to him again nothing.His name is Todd and Mark is the examiner. I would like if someone could find out what'sthe hold up, I don't want to take other steps about this matter.My# claim number 124**** Name Deborah Smiley- cell 917-609-****

Fraud

be carefull they are fraud i paid them full 6 months for my car $111 but at the end they never provide me a rental car no towing money for tow no repair payments its ***

Payment to my mechanic, I need help from corporate

My car been out of use for three weeks Carshield has not responded and taking a long time to fit to pay the mechanic so I can get my car Im a senior citizen Im disable I need my car to take me back-and-forth to the doctor and to therapy I am stressed out for three weeks I have to go see my doctor because Im stressed thanks to Carshield please someone get in touch with me and help me with this problem of mine Im trying to get in touch with corporate so someone can help me thank you

Denial to repair my vehicle

My air condition went out took it to a car shield approved mechanic.He contacted them and they told him it was not covered. That is not what they advertise they are crooks,

For them to live up to what they promise customers

Waste of time and money, frustrating

Brought car in for oil change on Thursday morning, noticed a loud noise. Turned out to be the drive shaft. Dealer had a part on hand, but car shield stated they need to check for a more affordable part. Part is 300 cheaper via carshield'provider, but we would have to wait 3-5 days estimated shipping. In the meantime I am in a rental that I have to pay for out of pocket because the labor is 3.5hrs, warranty co requires 4 hrs labor to cover the rental, and they refuse. Carshield said I do have the option to pay the difference if I want to expedite the repair and use the dealers part. I agree to pay the difference on the part because the loaner is 35/day out of my pocket. The dealer called car shield for authorization, and now the warranty company states they are scheduling a inspector which dealership and it will be 24-48hrs for the inspector. When I called to ask why they didn't request the inspector come on Thursday or Friday they said "it is their process", even though it is costing me money for the rental car every day this goes longer. So now I am paying for a rental car for 10 days and have just had the most frustrating call with their customer service. Customer service rep Sabrina couldn't have cared any less, and when I asked to speak to someone above her in management she refused. For the record, I do not yell, do not attack a person or try to speak down to anyone, ever. I am simply looking for the warranty I was promised by the sales rep. He stated that it would be as easy as if I had the dealerships / manufacturers warranty, as easy as a phone call. He was very wrong. Had I just purchased the dealers warranty I would be back in my own car without the expense of the additional 300 for the part and would have paid for none of the rental car expense. I do not recommend car shield because they have a sales team that sells something that doesn't actually exist in their company. To their credit - they do answer the phone. But what's the point if they are unwilling to expedite repairs or pay for the rental car when they cause delays.

They are really a sheep in wolves clothing company

I am not a customer and never will be. I see way to many warning signs that other trusting souls may not. The amount of complaints from this company is very high and a big warning sign to anyone thinking about buying into a contract. You are probably better off starting your own vehicle repair savings account at your bank. In the long run if your repairs are minimal by the time you sell or trade in your vehicle then you are the smarter winner, not them.

Rip Off

Greeting, First this company claims you can take your car to any licensed mechanic. First Lie.I take my car to the dealership, They told me that they Dont deal with Car shield.. I called Car Shield and told them that. So they gave me a list of Referral list ( Big Joke) Called 2 On List. First on Canceled they contract with them. Thats happens from time to time. Second Place did the same thing. Had to laugh it off, to keep tears back . Just sad to take people money like thats disabled. Not right at all.

My car

Hello My car ben in the shop for two month I AM tried talk to CarShield I am ready to get me a law I ben how so must problem with them . I pay my money on time never complaint take it out my bank account . TO Now They dont want to get my car out the shop I am tried call I tried talk To them They want support me the right and make the right decisions on my car we got a Big problem .

Bad service

I went in to get a fuel pump replaced and they said they don't cover that type of repair so I had to pay out of pocket and I pay every month

Sitting 2 weeks without a car before they decided to deny my claim

The customer service reps were just horrible. I had to make many many phone calls to even get them to do anything. I sat over 2 weeks for them to even get to me a rental and then to find out that my claim was denied. I have requested to cancel my contract and would like a full refund. I have paid in so much money for them to always find a way to deny. I can't even watch their ads on TV anymore . SuNO WNO such a such

Pissed off potential customer!

Agreed! They won't even cover older cars like my 1987 Toyota Tercel or my really broken down, thanks to them, 1999 Honda Civic Sedan ,which both are strictly under 150,000 original miles! The Honda has a very bad spring due to an accident I had with it, thanks to one of my selfish former jobs, which caused that accident by making me go in one day to work after calling out possibly too much and then it was a dangerous blizzard outside and they made me drive in it with out considering my safety and my car's safety and I drove near a rock wall and crashed that side right into it and thanks to car shield they won't help my very poor mother help me afford the costs to repair the car correctly the first time. I am fuming mad about the whole thing and will never buy a new car again if I still have to deal with the same thing. To help with CarShield and similar companies and to help with greedy incompetent mechanics, no offense to mine

Misinformation

I took out a car warranty and have made three payments now. I told them I needed to correct the mileage on it. I tried via the web and it returns the emails. I tried to call and do this via phone. The one lady told me I was o.k. and not to worry about it. I finally got a supervisor who told me that my wait over again over again thus voiding out the money I already paid. They will not issue a refund. I want my money back. Be bB
